Meet the Over Skylight
Human Arrest System

The Over Skylight Human Arrest System is the only skylight specific fall protection product on the market designed as a complete system specifically to protect rooftop workers from falling through commercial skylights, provide managers with real-time inventory location visibility, and record required weekly inspections and fall arrests.

Every component of the Over Skylight Human Arrest System is Engineered to Do One Job: protect your team

The Over Skylight Human Arrest System is a fall protection system for employees that work on commercial rooftops and are exposed to the danger of falling through a skylight. More than just a safety net, this is a complete system that not only provides a physical barrier from injury due to falls, but also includes a full software package that tracks product deployment location, automates required weekly onsite inspection logging, provides managers with inspection log output if requested by government inspectors, records when the unit has been used for fall arrest, and tracks in-service use for product expiration compliance.

The Net

A high-visibility, UV-stabilized orange mesh net sized for the standard 4’×8′ commercial skylight, curb-mounted or self-flashing. Tested to absorb 3,500 ft-lbs of impact energy far in excess of OSHA and Cal/OSHA standards for skylight fall-through protection.

The Attachment Strap

A heavy-duty stainless steel ratchet and black attachment strap securely fastens around the existing skylight curb beneath the skylight counterflashing to hole the Over Skylight Human Arrest Safety Net in place. The Strap tightens by hand and secures the system without penetrating the skylight assembly or the roofing system.

The Storage Bag

A reusable carry bag that protects the Net System between jobs and makes storage, transport and roof loading simple and easy. Each bag is permanently attached and paired to the net with a unique QR code for identification and tracking.

The QR Label

A serialized QR code, permanently affixed to both the Net and the Bag. One scan opens the inspection log on any smartphone, connecting the safety net on the roof to the audit trail in the office, and closing the gap between installed protection and documented deployment locations and system inspections.

Fall protection that's hard to
install is fall protection that gets skipped.

The longer fall protection takes to install, the more often a crew is tempted to weigh the cost of doing it against the cost of skipping it. The Over Skylight Human Arrest Safety Net System eliminates that issue through safety, speed, and convenience. One person can easily install it in under two minutes with no tools.
Unpack & Inspect
Remove the net and strap from the storage bag. Inspect for damage, wear, or missing parts. Scan the QR code for digital registration and inspection log access.
Position the Net
Lay the net evenly over the skylight opening, centering it so all edges hang evenly.
Wrap the Ratchet Strap
Feed the strap through all the net’s perimeter loops. Verify the strap is properly oriented with the ratchet handle facing outward.
Secure the Net
Position the strap around the skylight ensuring it rests against the skylight curb below the skylight counterflashing. On vented skylights, position the strap below the venting and counterflashing or above the venting but below the skylight frame edge. Ensure at least three full wraps of the strap on the ratchet spool when secured.
Verify Fit & Tension
Confirm that the net edges drop below the skylight frame on all sides. Check that the strap is snug and will not loosen over time. Give the net a light tug to verify it’s locked in place.

OSHA Compliant

The O.S.H.A. Safety Net System exceeds both Federal and California standards governing skylight fall protection, while the integrated QR-coded inspection platform creates the documented compliance record required by each.

OSHA 1910.28(b)(3)(i) | OSHA 1926.501(b)(4) Cal/OSHA T8 §3212
